5 days ago, I requested an upgrade from 64 and 96. The day after (Friday), I got a confirmation that the upgrade has been done.

So I tried to log on again on my server... nothing... Looks like the IP they gave me is now responding to another host and the web interface don't show anything (looks like the ip assigned to vm20 is now at vm22)...

So I open 3 tickets since Friday because I can't access my VDS... No answer. Is it just me? Is it because we are just paying only a few boxes per month?

Is someone from Unixshell is reading this forum, cause it looks like nobody is reading the support center!

[EDIT] Finally someone looked at it and solved very quickly the case. My VDS is now upgraded and fully working. They did very quick tonight! Thanks! :)

The way UnixShell distributes accounts, and due to Xen not allowing "overselling", if you require an upgrade 9 times out of 10, they will need to migrate your site to another VM which has the necessary space free: therefore upgrades may take a little time to action.

However, that said, I do believe UnixShell is suffering a few growing pains at the moment (in the last few months, I've seen their number of VM's over double in number!) and I believe that they are still training some staff members up and the "trainees" are still making little errors. But hopefully, in a month or two, they'll have a fully training experienced team and the service level will be back to the high standard it was when Matta etc were the only "staff".

richyc you hit the nail on the head. I just did the math, we are now filling up a new host server on average every 8 days. It's a double-edged sword though as you can see. We have hired 2 new staff over the past 6 months and are looking to hire 2 more over the next 3 months.
