How to subscribe to a forum

Hi - I know you can subscribe to a thread to get email notification of updates - but is there any way to subscribe to a forum - say the announcements one - so that you get an email any time there is a new post?

Agreed. In fact I'd like to be able to subscribe to forums and get an email copy of each new post, even better be able to post to forums using email (I dislike having to use other means of sending messages when my email client is nicely conifgured for my use).

When you click on a forum name, there is a Forum tools link on the righthand side of the page, below the main header bar. Clicking that reveals a dropdown that contains about 4 options. One of those is "Subscribe to This Forum".

Cool, thanks. I knew it had to be in there somewhere - the reason I was not seeing the subscription option was that I was trying to subscribe to a top level forum - not the child one... ie. in this case, you can't subscribe to the "Main Category" forum, but you can subscribe to the "Lounge" forum contained within.
