Multiple Datacenters?

I'm thinking about getting another server but would like to have it in another datacenter. If I was to purchase one now would it be possible to move it to the other center later? An IP change wouldn't be a problem.

I could have sworn Matta was talking about a new datacenter but I can't find that thread now.

Yes there are plans. The #1 choice as of right now is Switch & Data in Philadelphia. I am unsure of which providers we will be bringing in, but the ones we have talked to are InterNAP, AboveNet, Yipes!, and Cogent. I know it is still "east coast", but it is far enough away from Atlanta and only a 40 minute drive from our office.

I'm not even planning to get this started until after Christmas though due to how much work is involved, although most of the hardware is already purchased.
