Hi,
I wanted to know if a dedicated half-life: counterstrike game server would possibly run on "the 64" and if, then how many slots (players) wich ping (for europe) and if there are any lags
If not, wich vs would then be right for me (if theres any :D )
Thx in advanvce

If your players are located in Europe, then it would be a very bad idea to buy a server in the US (100+ ping for sure).

yeah i know that the pings will not be the best but DOES IT WORK? :O

100ping is 10x better than the ping i have when running on my cable which is a VERY bad idea ;)

Generally a bad idea, unless you want to play vs 1-2 your friends at rare times.
For running a dedicated game server you will need a dedicated hardware.
Running it on VPS will be slow, will cause delays for your game server
and for other customers on same physical machine as well.. therefore it will be major degrade in performance and dissatisfaction..
Yet thanks to Xen engine, your VPS will be slowed down by CPU priority

If you want to run it on the 32 as a test, let me know, and I'll give it a shot on one of my systems to see what happens. Xen should theoretically "limit the damage" to just my VPS. Can play with it on bigger system too, albeit off unixshell.
