Difficult to say for sure, it should probably be fine.

I guess bandwidth is a more important issue (at first).

From what I've played with, bandwidth is the key thing if you are encoding the audio somewhere else. Once that is done, the majority of the processor usage is done, it's just an issue of distributing the data.
