Do I already have to have a domain name?

On the order form, it asks for a hostname. Does this require me to already have one? I was planning on getting one at a latter date, and playing around with BIND.

You can call the machine anything you like (it doesn't have to be a registered domain name) and then access it by IP number.

When you've registered a domain name you can configure it yourself in the usual way from inside your VM - no need to ask unixshell.
