Free DNS w/ web management!

Just an FYI for those wanting good DNS services without hosting your own. I just signed up with http://everydns.net and its a pretty sweet deal. The nameservers are updated immediatly, they have 4 nameservers- 2 westcoast, 1 eastcoast and 1 in europe. You can host 20domains free with a total of 200 records with no strings attached. They are absolutly free with no creditcard or anything required to set up and you can manage your records with a really easy web interface. They also have advanced options like using their servers as slaves and other goodies. Really worth checking out and a lot more newb freindly than granitecanyon. This is not some host a few free then pay for advanced services, its completly free and in the opensource spirit pitch a few bucks their way if you want to show you care! :cool:

I concur; I've been using everyDNS for some time now.

I've also contributed towards the project; after doing so, the limits are removed so I can have e.g. over 20 domains.

Not that I need over 20 domains, but it's good to support this sort of service!

I've been using DNS Exit dnsexit.com for over a year now myself. Another great service, no limit on domains or records, and best of all free. It has a pretty friendly user interface as well.
