Bandwidth useage ?

Any recommendations on packages I might install (Debian unstable) to help me keep track of my monthly network usage?

You can use bandmin, i'm unsure if Debian has it included. MRTG is also popular.

Speaking of, does the bandwidth monitor at the VM Manager (https://vm1.unixshell.com/vmmgr.cgi, for me) not work? It always reports that I have used none...

This has already been covered in the forum.

This function has been put into production. It is counting bandwidth in + out and calculating the grant total and will automatically rotate in the console every month. In future versions we will provide a way to view the history of previous months.
