i`m interested in setting up a mail server on a virtual server.

I was wondering if this is a vaid use of the space and also if I am allowed to use the space for commercial reasons?

Yes, you can do whatever you like as long as it complies with our Terms of Service (ie. no spam). The space can be used for commercial purposes.
