Reverse DNS Howto

How do I setup the Reverse DNS - the references I've found are related to submitting a request to your ISP.

What do I enter into the Tektonic control panel - something like www.mydomain.com or is it more complex? I also need to know what to add / verify in my bind config. From what I am reading if my IP was 123.45.67.890 i would use:
098.76.54.321.inaddr.arpa PTR www.mydomain.com
Is that correct? :confused:

You don't need to do anything in your BIND config. Just enter in a valid hostname in Teknic and it will be set.

How long does it usually take for this to happen?

I entered a hostname several weeks ago and it has not been set yet.
