I am thinking of getting a second VPS - I'm running CPanel on my primary, and don't want to install my own software or interfere with it in any way.

My question is really for matta, but I think other community members might be interested in this - that is why I didn't ask this in a ticket.

If I have more than one VPS, can I have some sort of private network configured between the different VPS accounts (virtual eth1?) with a 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x address for private communication between my VPS accounts without using my main bandwidth?

Secondly, will there be any charge for this and how much?

Thanks!

For now all inter-VM bandwidth is accounted for. I'm looking into a way to account for this, but it is not easy logistics. On the plus side, our bandwidth allowances are very high for the price than any other VM/VPS provider.

You can use the 'tun' driver and crate a VPN between your servers, OpenVPN.org would be useful for that.
