Can we have the modules folder built for the 2.6.x kernels?

I am running 2.6.X(on Slackware), but a modules folder was only built for 2.4.29. Can modules folders for 2.6.10 and 2.6.11 be compiled and made available for download somewhere(and/or added to the image)?

I'd like to be able to download them, so that I don't have to reimage my system to get them.

Side note: Is "ppp" useful as a compiled-in feature for a stock vps kernel? (Can it be switched to M instead?)

I'll put up 2.6.11 source+config when it is officially released. PPP is useful for people using some types of tunnels and was added by request... it has a lot more uses than for dial-up :)

Hmm, what do you think about the idea of having a set of "popular"/"recommended" modules precompiled? In this case only few users (with really special requirements) will need to compile their own modules, and others will get a little extra free memory :)

I see 2.6.11 is the default kernel now, but I can't find the source or modules for it anywhere - when will those be posted?

Makes it hard to set up iptables when there's no modules for it.. :)

I made a thread in 'Kernel Updates' with all the info for 2.6.11.
