Whenever my VM reboots due to some unknown, I patiently wait for some word from the all mighty VM lords, aka unixshell staff. Once again I’m forced to ask if VM22 was rebooted and why was it rebooted and is it fixed, still broke, some sort of details would be nice to know. It’s not like I’m not paying for my VM or something.

I beg you at unixshell to set some sort of policy about reboots that will provide a level of detail to your users. Don’t make me beg.

So what’s the word?

I show vm22 at 21 hours uptime as of now. We're still under the "random reboots" persistant outage report. We have many traces and the problem seems to reside in the 2.6.16 iptables code itself. Many servers have not been affected, it seems the same couple of servers reboot due to whatever load is put on them. It's not hardware and all hardware is standard across every host.
